In South Africa, MBSA(Mercedes Benz of SA) built the Civic as the Ballade only in 4dr. MBSA also released a special edition AMG version. The Honda Ballade 160i(D16A) AMG and 180i(B18B4) AMG they had two type's of alloys and a 40mm Eibach lowered suspension, a bigger rear spoiler and AMG emblems on the spoiler, trunk lid and the centre caps of the wheels. The AMG version was purely aesthetic. Standard equip. leather interior, air con, power-steering and ABS.
